Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Develop confidence and skill treating the male procreative system.
- Be conversant with the muscular, ligamentous, fascial, visceral and neural anatomy of the male procreative system.
- Demonstrate proficiency with location, palpation and the treatment of these structures, including identification and treatment of trigger points, fascial restrictions and scarring.
- Describe the mechanics of breath that include both the respiratory and pelvic diaphragms.
- Understand how mechanical restrictions can limit mobility and contribute to the following conditions:
- Non-Bacterial Chronic Prostatitis
- Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome
- Urinary Dysfunction (difficulty initiating stream, frequency, urgency, nocturia, incomplete emptying.
- Testicular Pain (chronic orchialgia)
- Scrotal and Perineal Pain (mechanical)
- Scars and Adhesions
- Post-Prostatectomy
- Pelvic Floor Muscle Spasms and Imbalance
- Sacrococcygeal Dysfunction
- Pudendal Neuralgia
- Ejaculatory Dysfunction
