Lauren Rose, the owner of Physiotherapy New Mexico has over 30 years of experience in manual therapy. She has been a physical therapist in private practice in Santa Fe for 24 years. Before obtaining a master’s degree in physical therapy, Lauren worked as a neuromuscular therapist for 10 years. After working for four years in orthopedic rehabilitation at Saint Vincent’s hospital, she opened Physiotherapy New Mexico.
Physiotherapy New Mexico specializes in treating pelvic dysfunction for female and male patients, chronic pain, visceral adhesions, Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction and all orthopedic issues. Lauren holds certifications in trigger point dry needling, neuromuscular therapy, Egoscue, and Kinesio Taping. She has studied cranial, visceral, neural and energetic manipulation since 1986.
Lauren Rose’s therapeutic approach is dynamic, unique and integrative. Each treatment session is individually designed to meet the challenges and needs of the patient. She skillfully combines her knowledge of anatomy and physiology with her expertise in manual therapy. Lauren is committed to her lifelong study of manual therapeutic advances.
Lauren developed The Internal Work-intravaginal and intrarectal manipulation and authored the manual for it. She provides her students with the manual skill and anatomical mastery necessary to excel as Women’s Health therapists. In addition to teaching the course she has privately mentored students in New Mexico. She is a member of The International Pelvic Pain Society, the Interstitial Cystitis Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
